Heavens Comfort Ministry is reaching into the darkness and tangibly holding people with the love and comfort of the Lord. We provide unique gifts of love - comfort blankets with the word of God embroidered on them, beautifully gift boxed with specific cards that speak of the promises of God, for ministry into the following areas.

• Who are diagnosed with a terminal illness
• Children who have lost parents, grandparents, siblings and pets
• Orphans and children who have been placed into foster care
• Children whose family are experiencing separation and divorce
• Children who have been sexually abused

Bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lords favour and the day of vengeance for our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise, instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called mighty oaks a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendour.

Forever In Our Hearts
The major arm of our ministry here in Bendigo is to provide blankets through the Bendigo Hospital and Arise Giftware to every mother who loses a child.
Forever in our hearts blankets have the babies name embroidered on one side with either a little lamb or angel, and the wording 'forever in our hearts'. On the other side I embroider a dove with the words 'May the Lord Jesus comfort your heart'. (Based on 2Thessalonians2:17 KJV)
These blankets are given to provide a sanctuary for the parents, a place to grieve, to mourn, and to remember their precious little one. Our blankets imprint the name that is forever in their hearts, providing a precious keepsake of their beloved child.
That very same blanket also has the Lords name embroidered on it, for He is the only one who can comfort our broken hearts. There is nothing that you or I can say to someone who has lost a loved one that will ever truly comfort the pain in their hearts. It is God alone that can bear our grief and carry our sorrows, as He gives us the strength and the peace; which transcends our understanding, and carries us into each new day.
My heart is to minister to grieving parents, who may otherwise not know that their Heavenly Father loves them, to tell them that He has not forsaken them, He is with them, He knows their pain, He sees their tears and He is carrying them close to his heart. It is my heart that they would hear of His mercy and that they would turn to Him and allow His love to hold them and His comfort to give them the strength to stand.
Forever in our hearts blanket are also available for any loss of a loved one. That are not solely just for loss of a child, this is however the major arm of our ministry here in Bendigo .
Heavens Comfort also provides Bethel Funerals in Melbourne with blankets as an extension of their ministry for every parent who loses a child.
